Brodie castle is a Z plan tower house in Moray, Scotland. It dates back to 1567 but has been added to at different times over the centuries and was converted in to a Scots Baronial style mansion in the early part oif the 19th century. The castle was occupied by the Brodies of Brodie up until 2003 although the property was passed in to the hands of National Trust for Scotland some years before this. The the castle is in good condition as is the interior which is open for guided tours. It is an intereting place although lighting inside is often gloomy to protect artefacts so decent pictures are at a premium.
