Armed forces Day

Since 2009 the last Saturday of June has been Armed Forces Day in the UK. Originally it was veteran's day but is now an annual event that recognises and celebrates the men and women of the British Armed Forces both past and present. There are a number of events around the country including one on my local seafront this morning and I happened to be about. I was only armed with my cell phone but here are a few images.

    Good ones! It looks like there was a separate formation for the different branches of the military, plus maybe one for veterans?
