Mount Eden
Mount Eden is in the heart of Auckland and offers fabulous views over the city and surrounding areas. It is a defunct volcanic peak.
It is possible to drive fairly close to the the summit and then there is a short steep climb to the top with a walkway and viewing area built around the former crater.
